I don’t know how many of you played the first chapter of The Sims saga, however - for the nostalgic sims-players or for all the TS3 players - the amazing town of Simsville is finally come back, with the fascinating Old Town, the frenetic Downtown, and a whole new neighborhood, full of rabbit holes and communitary lots (there are also many empty lots, ready for your building pleasure).
Meet Bob and Betty Newbie, Bella and Mortimer Goth, Frankie and Sylvia Mashuga, Mama and Elend Hick, and all the other beloved families who are waiting for you, ready for a new, nostalgic comeback!
Simsville is a 99% faifhful replica of the old The Sims town, as it was just few days before the arrival of the magician’s carovana of “Makin’ Magic” (the latest expansion pack oft The Sims): a weird hotair balloon is floating quietly over Old Town, while, at night, some strange lights appear just behind the mountains…
But don’t worry, forget those lights and go out with your date: ride a cab and drink a Martini at Hedman’s Highway, or go to shopping at Landgraab Mall, or at Solana Towne Center!
You can also go swimming to SimCity Beach, buy an icecream at Barrett’s Boardwalk, and having a fantastic diner at Cory’s Place, or at Old Farm Square!
If you prefer instead a more quiete afternoon, visit Old Town with all its historical venues: Custer’s Market, for all your gardening needs, Pet Paradise (your pets will love it!), the Gothic Quarter, and many others.
You can also explore the surrounding area, strolling around the whole scenery, enjoying the calm, beautiful scenery…
- Despite I built Simsvile using few objects from every TS3 expansion pack, the scenery itself requires just three of them: World Adventures and Supernatural fot the bridges, and Late Night for some trees.
- No Store objects required.
- I recreate many objects, textures, walls and floors from the old The Sims, mainly previuosly released: you don’t need to desperately download them, because they are all included in the CC file linked below, that I warmily suggest to use instead (get rid of the cc previously downloaded).
- SIMSVILLE_SAVE: (rar file) unrar it and place into your Saves folder. Even if not completely necessary, I warmily suggest you to download it and play this one (it will provide you fully functional cemetery - with spawning ghosts - and assigned NPCs to every bar, restaurant, shop, etc.)
Today I’m happy to release Praaven Reworked, a new version of Praaven
by jje1000/potato-ballad-sims, edited by Simsmidgen and me. As usual
this project took longer than expected. But with the help of our many
fantastic testers all is well that ends well.
Simsmidgen and I tweaked some things more to our liking, replaced broken
CC, reduced the overall amount of required CC, recoloured EA objects
and/or replaced them, fixed major routing issues, reduced world size,
replaced/fixed all those bloody arches
and stacked staircases, thinned spawners, improved terrain painting (at
least we think so). We added the two festival lots by lowrisim
and tweaked them a bit and also made sure that the tomb can be solved (yes, there is a tomb, go looking for it!).
We tried to leave the world as original as possible though (apart from
the things that didn’t work well). Public release is with permission of
potato-ballad-sims.

As I promised a couple of months ago, I’ll publish a modern house somewhere in the future… Well the time has come! :D
It is a really modern styled home, which is absolutely not my type, I just feel modern thing way too lifeless and cold. So this project was kind of an “out of my comfort zone” thing.
I think I nailed it. :) But I’m quite sure that I’m not gonna make any modern stuff for a while.
The downstairs are completely furnished, but unfortunately, I ran out of MODERN ideas. There’s only one room has been finished on the upstairs which is the billiard room /game room, the rest will be your project now.
When I was a teen, my mom replaced the toilet in the bathroom I shared with my sister. Rather than disposing of the old, broken toilet, she turned it into a planter for some of her flowers. I was absolutely mortified at the time (”mom, it’s so tacky!” *stomp stomp stomp bedroom door slams*), but now I think it’s pretty rad. So I made a toilet planter for my simmies, as well as a tub one. Because why the heck not?
These are both basegame compatible. You can plant one seed in the toilet, and three in the tub. All plants seem to work, with the exception of trees. Both are found under Decor–>Plants. The toilet is 50 simoleons, and the tub is 75.
There is an issue with the tub I couldn’t fix. Sims clip into it while planting and tending to the plants. I tried to fix it, but couldn’t seem to figure it out. I hope it isn’t too off-putting for ya’ll.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Before you download, I have a request: please send some support to @sims3hasstoppedworking and her mother, who is ill with cervical cancer. You could do so one of two ways:
26 (More) De-Accessorized, Retextured, and Fixed Up EA Hairs. Read more and download them HERE.
Technically 28 since two of them have an alternate version, but as with the first part there are a ton more pictures and a few more details on that download page at Mod The Sims. I hope you like them, and if you have any problems or questions my inbox is always open. Enjoy! :)
Well, it’s not a new build, I made it months ago, so I think it’s time to share this with U guys.
The house has a long pier, and a quite small living area with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, only the second floor can be used, the first floor is just an empty space.
